Position Summary

The Water Resources Engineer will design stormwater management systems, perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and prepare technical reports for development and municipal projects. Responsibilities include modeling using HEC-RAS and HydroCAD, designing green infrastructure solutions, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and supporting permitting efforts.

Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering PE license preferred 4-7 years of water resources engineering experience Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, and hydraulic modeling software Strong understanding of stormwater regulations and BMP design Excellent technical writing and communication skills Experience with FEMA floodplain analysis

Nice to Have Skills

  • CFM (Certified Floodplain Manager) certification Experience with stream restoration or dam design Knowledge of erosion control design
